arjeea21 is an artist-led group that promotes contemporary art by increasing public engagement with it, and by advancing artists' development though informal discussion, peer critique, skill sharing, and networking with other groups. The focus is on contemporary practice and the desire to progress in new directions.

Exhibitions are selected by the steering group, often from work that has developed through discussion at the monthly meetings in the jelly, in Reading Town Hall. All media are welcome, eg photography, video, 3D, printmaking, performance, installation, painting, drawing, textiles and conceptual work.

arjeea21 is based in Reading, and most of its artists come from the RG postal area, but wider national and international links and opportunities are welcomed.
