OpenHand OpenSpace is an artist-led centre fostering excellence in contemporary art and providing affordable studio and exhibition space for artists in Reading. Its education and exhibition is open to all and promotes public access to contemporary visual art and artists. Founded in 1982, OHOS is an Industrial and Provident Society with charitable status. Whitley Arts Festival is an innovative and nationally focused festival that celebrates and provides a platform for new work. Launched in 2004, it includes exhibitions of new work and retrospectives of renowned artists, seminars, workshops, screenings, master classes and awards. 2008 saw the addition of Reading Experimental Film Festival. Reading College is a thriving further education college with over 8,500 learners on over 900 courses. It opened in 1955 as Reading College of Technology,then spent time as Reading College and School of Arts and Design, then Thames Valley University from 2004 until its 2010 transfer to Reading College and new partnership with Oxford & Cherwell Valley College. This is a not-for-profit organisation active in improving education and training through support programmes, research, consultancy and training.

Reading Borough Council is supporting Nuit Blanche Reading through its own venues, help with licencing and publicity, and indirectly through its support of arts venues such as OpenHand OpenSpace.

Reading UK CIC is Reading's economic development company. It funds improvements to the town centre through the Business Improvement District (BID), such as special lighting and support for cultural events.
